The S/S France was the French Line's final large passenger ship, a successor to the beautiful Normandie and I'le de France, the ship became a victim of the French government's decision to stop subsidising her service and instead concentrate on financing the Concorde project

As S/S Norway, the ship was for a decade the largest cruise ship in the world. Cold water North Atlantic Greyhound became warm weather Caribbean floating resort. This is her story, the ship that bore the name of two of her owner nations. A legend of the Atlantic and the Caribbean alike.
