Welcome to our Infante dom Henrique website celebrating this well known and elegant Portuguese ship. She was built in 1961 by Cockerill-Ougree in Belgium. She sailed on the Portuguese Line's services from Lisbon to Beira in Mozambique and other Portuguese colonies in Africa. In 1975 she was retired from service and became a hotel ship until 1988. Then she was reactivated as a cruise ship until finally being scrapped in 2003.
